Collective innovation through IoT-World

Last week we met up with partners in the Region Östergötland IoT-hub, now renamed and rebranded as IoT-World. This time we were hosted by Ericsson, one of the solution partners in the hub. They gave an exciting presentation about 5G, which undoubtedly will have a central role as one of the communication protocols in a connected society. Ericsson also presented their innovation space, Ericsson Garage, where they let staff be creative and dig into future problems, finding the next step for the technology they develop. Very inspiring!

IoT-world focuses on IoT-innovation within public logistics and connected systems

Even though the hub has only been up for a couple of months, there are already a few projects up and running. However, the focus on this meetup was still to get more serious in starting new projects.

After the meeting, we have taken the next step, both with potential, new customers and new interesting partners, which will strengthen our product Connective. We can already see that the hub is opening new doors for us.

About the “IoT-World” hub
Since this summer, we’ve been involved in the IoT-World project, which focuses on IoT-innovation within public logistics and connected systems. The program is set for three years.

We’re expected to contribute with our platform Connective and our IoT expertise. We’re set to work together with other partners, to solve specific logistics problems that public partners have. These are Östgötatrafiken, Tekniska Verken, Nationellt Forensiskt Center and Region Östergötland. The IoT-World hub is financed by IoT-Sweden, which is the national strategic innovation programme for IoT technology, securing Swedens strong position as one of the forefronts in IoT innovation.
